A friend sprayed Volini (pain relief spray) inside my eyes. Now my eyes turned reddish and feels like burning inside. Also having pain. Please suggest me any tablet so that I could take it from my nearest dispensary. Also tell me some quick home made treatment.

Hello Gavin, Without wasting anytime irrigate your eyes as much as possible with normal tap water. The steps that is taken in case of chemical injury of eye is as follows 1. Remove the offending agent. 2. Promoting healing of the damaged area. 3. Medicine to control the symptoms like pain and redness. 4. Prevention of infection. After washing your eyes as suggested you get your eyes evaluated from a Eye specialist. He will wash your eyes further and evaluate the damage occurred. Depending on the severity of eye damage you may be given 1. Artificial tear supplements 2. Topical Antibiotic 3. Topical Steroids 4. Pain killers In serious cases surgery may be required.
