Sir I have squint problem with lazy eye and Dr. Suggested me for surgery for temporary solution .sir kindly tell me if I go for surgery after that how long it will work.

Please note that Your lazy eye will persist to exist as long as the squint is present. So the squint correction surgery has to be done. How much will be the improvement in vision depends upon the age of the pt and severity of lazy eye. Thanks.

Lazy (amblyopic) eye if operated below 10 years old after successful pleoptic treatment, it gets binocular vision for ever, & you are having straight eye for ever but lazy eye with very less vision again gets anatomical position (divergent squint) in5-10 yrs& it can be operated again & again.
