Hi. Want to ask an Ophthalmologist about treatment of divergent squint in my 5 years old son which wasn't there at birth, but started after 2 years of age (during this there is history of sharp object injury on upper lateral side of eyelid happened which wasn't much serious as such). What would you recommend. Thanks in advance.

First of all his vision should be tested if weak specs should be used. If divergent eye is very weak occlusion of better eye is recommended for 8 hours to improve the vision of wk eye. After all this if there is no improvement then operation is advised to correct squint. Do not delay, consult good ophthalmologist.
