Dear lybrate user, dologel is meant for external purposes only. It is not advisable to swallow it and as you have mentioned, it is written on the packaging also. When you apply dologel, excessive salivation takes place but you have to hold the saliva for 5-8 minutes and then spit. You don't have to rinse your mouth, eat or drink anything for at least 30 minutes. Only then the medicine will be effective. Whenever you feel excess saliva, just spit, don't swallow. Dologel is to be applied at least 3 times daily and swallowing it in excess often results in stomach upset.

Hello, You can not swallow it, when you apply it keep it there for 10 minutes after that wash your tongue with water or mouth wash. During these 10 minutes don't eat anything or swallow your saliva. After washing it properly you can swallow anything. Hope it will help you and provide your feed back.
