I met with accident few years ago and doctors had to do skin grafting on my knee and above that. However during the skin graft process, doctor apply the graft on straight leg as a result skin fall short around my knee area and my knee got stiffed and I am not able to bend my knee at all even slightly. I want to know what reconstructive surgery/options available to me so that I can fully able to bend my knee.

Hello mam. I am a plastic surgeon. Usually we do avoid applying the skin graft over a joint area, and if we do then we leave ample amount of excess skin to avoid such complications. The flap surgery are the best for the wounds over joints. This will never hamper the movements. But the condition you were in at the time of surgery and the amount of physiotherapy you were compliant to after the graft settled, also counts in for this deformity. Still, now its not untreatable. Kindly consult with me online with a proper picture so that I can guide you further regarding the options available.
