Abnormal behaviour of my mom I want to eat idli, after few mints I don't like idli, this aunt is very nice after few mints this aunt is not good please go from here. Also when she gets up unable to control her body, looks like will fall down, starts weeping crying for silly or no reason. Consulted doctor, MRI done. CT scan done and few more tests as advised by doctor. Continued on prescribed medicine for a week now. No improvement. This state is not continues but very frequently. Many a times in a day.

Dear lybrate-user, It is very nice of you to be concerned about your mom and her behaviour. She is being diagnosed properly after ruling out many medical disorders. Just now the treatment started. The antidepressant group of tablets start acting only after 2-3 weeks. Generally the tablets are given at minimum effective dose for 2-3 weeks. Majority will be fine with that itself. Some people need more dose. Start seeing small improvement, like less number of attacks per day or less duration of attacks. Wait or come online with all the tests reports, the tablets prescribed and taken, your mom on audio or video call.
