My father (62 age) is heart patient and diabetic both. We are very confused on his diet because every item either shoot up his BP or have sugar issues. Please guide on this. I am also concerned over his regular alopathic medicines which he has been taking as per doctors prescription for last 10 years.

Diabetes is easy to manage with some lifestyle changes. Like eating at regular intervals, monitoring the blood sugar regularly and through proper exercise. He shd consume meals at every 2.3 hours, include all seasonal fruits and vegetable, monitor which food elevates his blood sugar, encourage him to exercise atlas 30.40 minutes daily. Use good quality cooking oil, eat home ade food and avoid all packet food including biscuits. Don't fall prey to "diabetic food" available in market but opt for home made snacks.
