Can echo test reveal everything about heart disease. More particularly blocks if any, holes, etc. I mean all things. That is taking only echo test sufficient to identify all heart related diseases or some more tests also to be taken. Also some diagnostic centres take an echo test within two or three minutes by applying gel. Is it correct way as I see in internet that 45 minutes will be taken for echo test. Please clarify above three points separately in detail.

Hi Lybrate User Echo is just like as USG of Abdomen. Its can't tell everyone about heart. Its tells the condition of Valves and Ejection fraction of blood by hearts and thickness of heart walls etc. For echo test need 10 to 45 minutes. For all about heart condition need echo, TMT test and Angiography etc. Take care Thanks Regards.
