My past is not good I was alcoholic, smoking cigarettes and weed I quit ten months ago after that I feel depressed and anxious I'm on medication but one thing bothering me always is lipomas increases which is the reason behind them just I accept all depression and anxiety but since last one years I gained lots of weight so I'm happy but my lipomas are increasing day by day mainly on thigh and two on hands. Please kindly help me why my lipomas growing? Is it cancer? Or what.

Hi, Thanks for writing in, welcome to the forum. Lipomas can happen to anybody and in some it is multiple. There is no real external reason. It is inherent and genetic. It is very unlikely to be a cancer. See a surgeon to confirm the diagnosis as well as depending upon the size to consider excision for cosmetic reasons. Take care!
