Hello Dear Doctor. I am suffering from hypothyroid which was detected in Feb'15, however I feel that I was suffering from last many years. Current tsh level is 6 and testosterone level is 2.20. Doctor has suggested to take testosterone injection of 100 mg once in a month. My problem is that I am VERY VERY worried of the side effects of Testosterone Replacement Therapy. Request you to please suggest what should I do and is there any way to avoid TRT or to avoid the side effects. Regards Ankit.

Continue to take thyroid supplement for hypothyroidism and monitor with regular TSH estimation. Discuss with your doctor, what is the cause of low testosterone.
