My mother fasting sugar level is 114 but she is suffering from arm and shoulder pain from last two months and when she wakes up pain increases tremendously. Is it problem of veins or bones.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. It is better to chek her fasting, PP blood glucose levels and HbA1c%, that will give a clear idea if she has diabetes. Fasting 114 mg is suggestive of pre-diabetes. Pain shoulder and difficulty in movements may be due to a condition called frozen shoulder. Better to get above tests and then see an orthopedic. Diabetes is known to cause this condition, particularly when not in good control. Thanks.
