I am a 27 year old male. I am sexually active and one time on December my condom broke during intercourse. A month later I got a eye infection, and doctor told that it is "Phlyktenular KeratoConjunctivitis" Main cause for this disease is TB or Chlamydia. I had all TB tests done and it came negative. Yesterday I also had Chlamydia antibody test done and that came negative too. But I heard this test for Chlamydia can be wrong sometimes. I was wondering if you have any suggestion whether I can take treatment for Chlamydia even though it came negative just to be sure. I can buy medicine from a shop and take it if you recommend it. Please suggest me a solution. PS: My eye problem was treated with corticosteroids but it recurred 2 times. Its gone now, but I fear that it will come again.

Chlamydia affects people of all ages but is most common in young women. Many who have chlamydia don't develop symptoms, but they can still infect others through sexual contact. Symptoms may include genital pain and discharge from the vagina or penis. Antibiotic therapy for the affected patient and the sexual partners of patients is recommended. Screening for other common sexually transmitted infections should also be performed.
