I have an adopted daughter. She is now 19 years. She has anxiety/depression issues. She attended 7 counselling sessions. She discontinued. Lazy in studies. But intelligent. On doctors advise she is on depression medication (level 10 mg and Nexito 20 mg once a day. Many a times she misses the medicine. During full moon and new moon she experiences mood swings. Some times anger triggers and she misbehaves and she damages things. She is addicted to internet. How to bail her out .Kindly advise.

Guess more than depression she is having personality issue. Could be borderline personality as well. Need to take. More history to rule. It out. She seems to be suffering from Borderline Personality or Emotionally unstable personality. She needs to have herself assessed. Also there is nothing to suggest a borderline personality disorder. Psychotherapy/ counseling will be of greater help. Obviously the Nexito is not working and the dose is too high. Drugs should not be the first line of management.
