Malignant Received specimen in formalin in one container labelled as Biopsy Right BOT SPECIMEN METHOD: MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION Specimen consist of multiple soft tissue bits each measuring 0.2 cm. All processed in one block. GROSS METHOD: LIGHT MICROSCOPY & IHC Section shows multiple bits of squamous epithelium with extensive squamous carcinoma in situ with areas of invasion. MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION INTERPRETATION Consistent with squamous cell carcinoma. Above given is the biopsy report can you please help me understand it. Thank you.
