Please talk to your doctor who can also check her physically and assess her health. It is always safe to keep the sugar levels in good control so as to avoid any complications. The blood sugar levels can be controlled further by your doctor so that the cataract surgery can be done.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Usually to get any surgery done it is necessary to achieve a stricter control of blood glucose. For cataract surgery the eye surgeon will ask you to get the post food glucose under 200 mg. So with present leve of 237 mg, surgeon is likely to postpone it till level is brought< 200 mg. Thanks.
