Lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In hypothyroidism symptoms mentioned are quite common. Therefore, it is most important to achieve a strict control with TSH < 3 mU/L. Since there's no mention of THE, T4 & TSH levels, it is difficult to comment. Apart from taking thyroxine it is essential to follow other guidelines like avoid bakery items, junk foods, colas, foods made from maids, too much of sugary foods. Plus always use whole grain flour for roti and chapati, consume good deal of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Plus exercise, preferably brisk walking for 5 to 6 kms. Thanks.
