I have generalized social anxiety disorder (symptoms like extreme hot flashes, sweating, nervousness, ghabrahat, stress too much when something is happening, sleep disorder/insomnia and so on) as now my symptoms going to be worse day by day because it makes my life worse even I don't like social gathering too. But now I want to overcome from this problem in any way because this is my age to do something. So kindly help me to prevent this problem. Also I want to add something I also have the problem of panic attacks sometime whenever I drive the car. So I take opinion from psychiatrist regarding this and he prescribed me paxil 12.5 mg (in morning) and etilaam 0.5 twice a day and also told me to go for CBC. So is it right medicine to take these medicines because I heard that these medicines are very addictive in long term as I'm very young.

If your Psychiatrist has prescribed medicines it would be something that is needed. He would have taken the complete history of your problem and prescribed. But to taper down your medication and stop it completely it will take some time. You will need to take Psychotherapy for relieving your anxiety along with medication. Later as therapy begins to work on you your psychiatrist would probably taper down your medication. But don’t take it lightly since the symptoms sound to me like a combination of Generalised anxiety disorder along with social anxiety which definitely need to be treated. You can also take online therapy from me as I do a lot of online therapy sessions.
