Sir I had a thyroid which is hypothyroid. 3 months before I get tsh test the result shown 25.36 tsh nd yesterday I checked my tsh it shown 11.36.i taken thyrox 50 nd also homeopathy treatment in homeopathy I take thyronorm 6x and hyphothyro n liquid with water. So sir tell me is I take right dose for my thyroid nd why my become low.

Hello, Thanks for the query. TSH 11.3 mU/L is too high. When one is on treatment with adequate dosage of levothyroxine, TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L. Then all the symptoms related to hypothyroidism are in complete check. So you will have to increase the dosage by 12.5 mcg to (50 + 12.5 = 62.5 mcg) to 62.5 mcg per day. Plus I am sure you are aware that thyroxine tablets have to be taken on empty stomach early morning and then nothing should be taken for at least 1 to 1.and half hour. Then check your TSH after 6 weeks to see if desired level is reached. Thanks.
