Lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. When hypothyroidism is well controlled TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at that level all the symptoms including weight gain are in control. However, with TSH 10.5 mU/L, it is difficult to avoid weight gain. Therefore, it is essential to get TSH down to above mentioned levels. That needs increase in the present dosage of 75 mcg to 100 mcg. Then check TSH after 6 weeks to see if the desired level is attained. Plus you will have to take restricted diet, that gives exact calories based on your ideal body weight that is 57 kgs, plus the amount of exercise that you do daily. Your BMI is 37.11 kgs/Sq meter which is closer to grade 3 obesity. Thanks.
