Thanks for the query. When one is on adequate dose of Levothyroxine TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/l. At that level all the symptoms are in check. However, with TSH at 9.18 mU/l, there is a need for increasing the dosage to 112.5 mcg, then check again after 6 weeks to see if desired level (3 to 4 mU/L) is reached. Another important aspect with a BMI of 35.51 you are in grade 2 obesity. Your ideal body weight should be 57 kgs, which means there is an excess of 31 kgs. This needs to be reduced. So strict TSH control is a must. Thanks.
