My Wife is pregnant for first time and her weight is 43 Kgs. She is suffering from vomiting in all first trimester and sleepless all nights in these 3 months. Now its her second trimester. My question are as follows. 1) What to do to stop her vomiting? 2) How to improve her sleep at night? 3) How to gain her weight? 4) Can she dates as its high in potassium for pregnant woman? 5) As we have avoided intercourse in first trimester can we have intercourse in second trimester as she's weak from body so I am unable to decide?

Dates in pregnancy are good as they contain laxatives which aid in uterus contractions and ease labour by shortening it. Research proves that the consumption of dates during late pregnancy shortens labour and affects delivery positively by reducing the risk to both the mother and the baby.
