Hi. I am 28 years old. I have an 10 mm overjet problem. I consult with orthodontist for invislign he told me extraction. Of 2 premolar and not clearly told about expenses for the treatment. He said 3 lakh to 5 lakh and may be more than it. I loose my hope for the treatment wat to do?

The cost for Invisalign is around 3_5lakhs, for the amount of overjet you have, extraction of premolars is required to pull the teeth back.

Orthodontic treatment depends on your present condition and most importantly on the cause which leads to 10 mm of overjet. Nowadays many orthodontist take precautions in extraction of premolar ,until unless its very necessary. So much overjet can be caused by your unbalanced jaw growth or bcoz of your some habit or because of your narrow uppper jaw and high palate. So finding the cause and then deciding the mode of treatment is important. Beside invisalign you can select regular braces Ortho treatment, that will cost you much cheaper with very good result.
