Dear lybrate-user, Congratulations for deciding to quit smoking. Thank those tiny black particles for regaining your health. Please take help if you get withdrawal symptoms of sudden stoppage of 15 - 20/day. Help will be given as nicotine gum/lozenges/patch or tablets or both along with continuous motivational enhancement therapy weekly for 12 weeks. Quitting smoking has lot of health benefits in the long run. The tiny black particles are deposited over 10 long years. It cannot be removed by eating fruits. But it will not cause further problem to heart and lungs if you quit permanently by keeping your motivation high and learn how to avoid craving situations/people. Donating blood has nothing to do with smoking. You can donate blood is you don't have any diseases transmitted by blood and if you have single partner sex always.
