I'd hope maybe an orthopedist could help us please. My father is 55 years old now. Recently he visited an orthopedics clinic because of muscle pain near the elbow. He took an x-ray picture there. The doctor said that there is supposedly a bone tumor in the arm bone (the ulna and radius bone, I do not know which). The length is about 7 cm and width 2 cm. The doctor told him to visit a higher more expertise hospital for further checks. Would it be a malignant bone tumor? We currently reserved hospital examinations for detailed results, but I am so nervous. I am curious for the possibility if it is actually a bone cancer, and if it is, how we should treat and cure it. I know that without mri scan pictures it is quite hard to diagnose, but I would be very thankful to know the possibilities based on the size of the tumor or the location. Also, I would be very thankful to know what I could do for him. My father is feeling very depressed and I don't know how to make him want to live longer. Thank you very much.
