For acute exacerbation of asthma duolin inhaler is indicated. If the exacerbation is very severe then budecort or foracort in combination with duolin through nebulizer can be taken sos, depending on disease severity, from 1-3 times a day. Influenza vaccine may be administered in such cases once a year, but that doesn't prevent asthma directly. The indicated nebulizer should provide relief for walking difficulties during asthma attack. For weight reduction carbohydrate intake should be minimised, walking, exercises will help. Breathing exercises like pranayam will help.
