I'm 31 years old and suffering from joints, back muscles and shoulder blades pain from last two months. All tests have been done like also. Ra.ana everything is negative but esr is 66. Kindly suggest how long I've to take steroids like omnacortil. Or can I stop it in midway?

Why steroids? Get the diagnosis first. No point taking steroids for a longer time. Get an opinion from orthopaedic surgeon or rheumatologist. Steroid is not the way ahead unless there is some solid diagnosis to support/justify it's intake.

Have you done HLA B27 to rule out Ankylosing spondylitis Since the ESR is high please do a CRP also If you are having low grade fever ,you will have to rule.out infections like TB On the basis of high ESR alone it is inadvisable to start on steroids
