I am suffering from hypothyroidism with tsh 6.33. Now I am using thyronorm 50 mg medicine since 1 week. How long time does it take to lower my tsh value to 1?

To know its effect you have to wait for at least 6 weeks to repeat tsh test.

Hello, Thanks for the query. It takes over 4 weeks to TSh level to change. So patient is advised to check TSh after 6 weeks of taking a specific dose to see if desired benefit has occurred or not. Ideally TSh should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/l, then all the symptoms are in check. Thanks.

You will have to take and Do TSH every 6 month for doses changes if needed. best wishes
