My friend is age 16 and he has pectus excavatum and rose a year or two back. His heart is gradually shifting towards left as the ribs and sternum are not growing. Local doctor says, there might be chances of heart attack and cannot be cured completely. The doctor just advised taking calcium pills only to retard the severity of the problem, but I doubt it is so. His sternum is hardly 9 cm - 10 cm. Help, please.
