Hello, my partner and I have been together for 4 and a half years. We both recently got tested and I found out that she gave me hsv 1. All the rest of my results came back negative but she came back positive for chlymidia. She claims that she hasn?t been with anyone else however, I find it hard to believe that I have been clean all this time. We are both in our 30?s and she said she may of gotten it when she was 19 but never was tested for it or took care of it. My question to you is: is it possible for me to be negative for 4 and a half years?

It is possible for you to be negative and remain uninfected for 4 and a half years. Moreover, the positive result does not mean she is infected now and it shoes only the antibody titre due to past infection
