Dear Lybrateuser, - the natural healthy way to build muscle & hence increase bodyweight is by consuming a well balanced diet with more of protein rich foods & to do regular exercise - have more of fruits vegetables including green leafy ones whole grains instead of refined ones protein rich foods such as eggs, non veg foods, milk & dairy products such as yogurt, cottage cheese, buttermilk, cheese, also beans, chickpeas, pulses, sprouts, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peas, healthy fats as in fish, avocados, olive & canola oil for cooking, nuts & seeds - include a protein rich food in each of your meals and also as a snack inbetween meals to boost your protein content - have 7-8 glasses of water per day and other fluids to keep well hydrated - do regular exercise like walking or jogging or cycling or swimming for 20-30 min, also do pushups, pullups, crunches, squats & moderate weight lifting for 10-15 min twice a week to build muscles and to increase your weight.
