Hi my father's name prakash gandhi, he gone thru thyroid test today, his tsh is showing 13.400. Hez already taking throx100 tablet. Do he need to increase his power of tablet and for how many days. Hez suffering from high bp and uti problem for which hez taking betatrop and enam2. 5 tab. And for uti foley catheter is connected from. Bladder. Please suggest.

Increase the dose of thyroid medicine- thyrox 125 early morning in empty stomach. He then can have food or water/tea after 30 mins. Also avoid intake of cabbages, cauliflower, broccoli and soyabean. Repeat tsh after 3 months.
