Hello doctor I have many patches of ringworm in private are since almost 4-5 months. It?s extremely itchy throughout a day and night. Pls advice the medicine and in how long it would go away permanently?

Confirm whether it is afunus skin infection. There are many tablets, lotions, creams and dusting powder etc for application. Antifunglal soap is also available for application. You have to keep are dry, personal hygiene, proper regular bath, usng cotton clothes, avoiding polyfibre and denim clothes, avoiding contacts etc are precautions. Cure will be faster if manged under guidance of skin specialist and following the instructions properly. Recurrence is common.
