Mr Amit Kumar, Thanks for the query. The TSH level is lower than expected at 0,227 mU/L. Therefore, it is better if present dosage of Levothyroxine is reduced by either 12.5 mcg or 25 mcg per day. Then she needs to check the TSH again after 6 weeks. TSH should remain around 3 to 4 mU/Lfor being free from all the symptoms. Thanks

Dear lybrate-user, I note that is 42 years old, overweight by about 8-10 kg and is on 100 ug thyronorm for hypothyroidism. As her current tsh level on this dose is suppressed t ojust below normal, I would suggest reduce the dose to 88 ug once daily and recheck tsh after 3 months you need to maintain a tsh in the range of 2-5 uiu/ml for her weight issue reduce the quantity of carbohydrate (rice, wheat, rava, maida) in each meal and increase the quantity of protein (dhal, soya, egg white, fish or chicken). Take lot of green leafy vegetables walk 5 km per day and gradually reduce weight by 1 kg per month to about 55-57 kg
