Hi, I am 29 year old guy. Recently due to anxiety and depression I have been taking nexito 10 and etizolam0. 25 for 2 weeks, but the Dr. Switched the medicine and I am now only on nexito plus tablet. Which I take after dinner only. My concern since I started treatment is, I am having low sex drive and don't feel like having erection at all for a whole week. Since Dr. Continued it for a month to take nito plus. Should I worry about my sexual drive/libido. Or stop taking the medicines as may be its just the side effect and can be reverted back after discontinuing the medicines. Please suggest.

Hi. Since you are on treatment for depression and anxiety as you said, nexito is one of the best medicine to help you overcome your symptoms. Though it may cause decreased libido as a side effect, you don't have to worry because it is reversible on stopping or changing the medicine. But at times, depression itself can lead to decreased libido. You should not discontinue the treatment for depression due to this problem. You should discuss it with your doctor who will definitely change or moderate the medicine depending on the treatment response.
