Can minor surgery could be fatal for heart patient who underwent angioplasty 1 year back and he is on blood thinning and other medication of heart since last one year. My father is diagnosed with pyogenic granuloma on big toe doctor advised us to go for surgical excision .we are in dilemma whether we should go for it or not.

Hello, any surgery for heart patients on medications should be planned. Blood thinner should be replaced with alternative injections medicine around the planned surgery so that it doesn't cause excessive bleeding during the surgery. Always review with your cardiologist for such modifications before planning the surgery.
