Is it safe to have a vitamin b12 supplement (1500 mcg) daily, for an indefinite period?

No higher or extra amount can cause hypervitaminoses which is also harmful to the body. Taking vitamin b12 is sufficient for three months.

Yes it is safe as you said it is 1500 mcg/ day but anything in excess cause some effects on body and remember what ever may be the supplements you shouldn't continue more than 1 and half months. Try to consume through food than taking tablets. I already answered similar question please check in my feed and if you need any assistance you can consult me.
