Tranexamic acid is a temporary treatment for DUB. Mirena insertion would give you a longer lasting effect for the same

Mirena iud is very good for long term treatment. You can get it inserted and see how it works. If it does not suit you then go for the tablets. There is also a non hormonal pill which can be given in such cases. You can ask your treating doctor or take online consultation.

Mirena insertion is better .but before mirena insertion you have to get your endometrial biopsy done. If biopsy report is normal then only mirena is inserted.

We need to roll out the cause of the heavy bleeding whether it is a polyp or whether it is abnormal and important issues so that you can take in endometrial biopsy based on which we can take a call the tablet will help you for temporary e bleeding that can be reduced but in case of abnormal uterine bleeding which there is no cause is found then mirena will help you because it is a progesterone releasing device which will help you inside the uterus for almost 5 years when inserted.
