Depending on the exact stage and treatment outcome of chemo, your oncologist will share the prognosis and life expectancy. These are estimations as per the data we have. You will need to follow up regularly. Gastric cancers are usually detected at a late stage and have guarded prognosis.

Hello. Its a good sign that your tumor has responded to chemotherapy and has decreased in size. Once you complete your planned chemotherapy, your oncologist will advise a repeat scan to exactly assess how much the tumor has shrunk and where all it is present. If you initially had a localized disease and the tumor is operable now, surgery may be an option. However, the best treatment and life expectancy can be discussed only after reviewing all our scans and reports. Ensure a healthy diet. Pls consult me for further opinion or discuss with your treating oncologist. Thanks.
