My father's age is 70 years. He generally use fomtide 200 inhaler 2 puff two times a day. Today I buy a fomtide 400 inhaler, can he use it? If yes then how can he use that? Please help me.

Hello, please get your medication checked before buying, and varify the dosage with your treating physician. For time being till you consult with your doctor, my recommendation is to take 1 puff twice a day of fomtide 400 mcg, as earlier you were giving 2 puffs twice daily of fomtide 200 mcg.

Its better to use 200 2 puffs, as the dose of formoterol does not change in the 400 containing inhaler.
