Dear deepak, please go to the psychiatrist for follow up. You can not stop on your own. Each disorder has its own course of treatment. It has to be followed. Dveniz is not a symptomatic treatment to stop as soon as symptoms are relieved. Depending on the diagnosis, it may last for 6 months to life long.

Hi it's necessary and rationale to taper and stop rivotril as it can lead to dependence/addiction if continued indefinitely. You can experience few withdrawal symptoms like recurrence of anxiety symptoms and insomnia if you stop it abruptly. Desvenlafaxine should be continued for atleast 6 months and even thereafter you should taper and stop under the supervision of a psychiatrist. I wish you stay happy and healthy!
