My mom aged 53 had covid last month she took prednisolone 40 mg for 1 week 20 mg for 6 days and 10 mg for 5 days. I want to know if steroids caused any harmful effect how can I know. Shall we do blood sugar test also and is it fasting or after meal. She is not diabetic.

These are important points to know. If she is not a diabetes patient, still it is good to check her fasting and after food glucose once.Thanks.
