Hi lybrate-user, thank you for asking the question using Lybrate. For warts the first line of treatment is topical ointments. 1% flonida cream is actually for horny warts that happen as a result of cancers, so obviously it hasn't cured the plain simple warts. The treatment of choice is salicylic acid ointments. Not every salicylic ointment works though. Only salicylic ointment that has 17% of salicylic acid will work. Procedure of application - soak the wart area with warm saline water for 30 mins ,then wipe the area with a soft clean towel and apply the 17% salicylic acid cream and leave it open till the cream gets sucked in and vanishes from the skin. Medication: 1. Salicure 17 ointment 20gm tube - curatio healthcare pharma pvt. Ltd. - to be applied daily three times x 15 days.
