My mother was scratched by a community cat, it did not bleed but my mother immediately washed off the wound with some surfexel (detergent) and then with some rin soap and someone asked her to apply some rin soap on the wound and keep it there for some hours, she did that and she also got the tetanus shot. But due to excessively washing the scratch and keeping the rin soap on the scratch, its looking like a deep wound (no pus or discharge or anything it just looks like the scratch has been excavated and its dry) even tho it was not a deep scratch. There is no bleeding, just mild redness around the area and a bit swollen and the excavated area looks whitish and yellowish in colour (no pus).
