Am 38 years ago. March 2021 I taken uss in breast. Bcoz slightly little large left compare to right. Report is normal. Now I have nipple surrounded pain. If I press pain & little harmless lump. I consult gynaecologist. Dr. told take 10 days codesoft tablet. Then again take uss test. I have doubt about within 6 months again can I take uss scan. How long gap between take this scan. So within 6 month become any lump.

Yes since you have lump ,you can go ahead with the scan. May be it was small and unrecognised in previous scan. Ultrasound has no radiation effect unlike ct or xray, so don't worry. Always better to be on safer side.

Your primary care doctor is right about the months gap. If a diagnosis isn't clear with usg by then, the doctor might advice an mri scan of breast to get a better picture.

Scan taking repeatedly will not cause any problem but u can give gap also don’t be anxious
