Hi lybrate-user. If you are having severe pain even after 3-4 days of tooth extraction, visit your dentist for a check up to rule out a condition called' dry socket' it happens if the blood clot is lost from the extraction socket. The dentist can clinically examine and diagnose the condition and advice appropriate management. Till then you can do warm salt water rinses which will give you relief. Pain killer can be taken in case of severe pain.
