Most of us are watering the dead plants, knowing that it is sheer waste. We can do nothing about the past, because at the moment it is only a thought, and we can change our thought about the past. We are capable of choosing our thoughts at any moment. Let me give an example. You are entering a dinner hall where a number of delicious and nutritious foods on the dishes waiting for you on a large table. On the other hand, foods you never like, causing allergies to you like diarrhea, vomiting etc. Also there are dishes containing foods giving bad odours that you dislike, on an another table. Which dishes would you choose for your dinner. Undoubtedly the one that suits you. Likewise, we can choose the thoughts with a little effort that make us feel happy and positive views. Don't try to forget the past, it will be a valuable experience to be applied in our present or future to succeed. Keep yourself always busy most of the waking hours with productive activities and spend quality time with parents, friends, colleagues etc. Time is a great healer. Struggling to bring about the dead plants (past) or nourishing the alive ones (present), the choice is yours.
