I am 37 year old female and diagnosed with ra in november 2021. My anti ccp is greater than 1000 and rheumatoid factor is 257. I have been prescribed methotrexate (15 mg) once a week. I have severe nausea and vomiting and I still have joint pains trauma arising. I was feeling better after 8 doses of methotrexate and had got cavity in january (stopped metoject) until recovery. However after covid all my pains got aggravated, feel severe fatigue and pains. I am on a controlled gluten free diet. I want to ask if the dosage given above recommended foe 6 months is a proper way to start the treatment? Does rheumatoid arthritis increase the risk of diabetes? I already have thyroid. What are the chances of reducing the values after this dose.
