I have excess of fat around my belly area. What layer of fat is removed during liposuction?

Liposuction surgery is peformed to remove the subcutaneous fat layer that is found just under the skin in body parts that are resistant to diet and exercise. It might not reduce your weight but it removes fat that is not responsive in individuals. Liposuction is performed in body parts including doeuble chin, back of neck, bottom of upper arms, female breasts, outer thighs, bra strap area, belly pooch, male breasts, and muffin tops. Few less common areas include ankles, inner thigh and upper back.
