Hello doctor! I am a 32 years old female. I got married three years ago. My husband and I never tried a baby as if now because we were not prepared for it. It was six months back when we mutually agreed to have a baby. Since then, we tried 4 to 5 times but things are not working for us. I don't know what is happening and I am afraid too. I am afraid of being infertile. Doctor, please help me in knowing what are the causes of infertility.

There are various factors affecting the infertility and causes depending on the following reasons. 1- ovulation disorders (hormonal disorders such as pcos, hyperprolactinemia, excess thyroid hormone or too little also affects the menstrual cycle causing infertility.) 2- cervical abnormalities (abnormality of the polyps or the shape of the uterus and noncancerous uterus.) 3- fallopian tube blockage (this results in pelvic inflammatory disease that is caused due to sti.) 4- primary ovarian insufficiency- (menstruation ends before the age of 40 as the ovaries stop working.) 5- cancer treatments (reproductive cancers cause infertility. Radiation and chemotherapy which are the treatment for the cancer make a woman infertile.
