I am gaining a lot of weight. Is it due to mirtazapine? If I lower the dose of mirtaz, will it help me lose weight?

Weight gain is associated with many factors. Though some studies have shown that mirtazapine can lead to weight gain, it needs more research and evidence. Lowering of dose without your doctor's prescription is not advisable. Follow good eating habits and adequate intake of water to boost your metabolism and achieve desirable weight.
